Root Noob again.

Ok I have been away and explored the Apple world and have decided to come back to the Droid X. Bought one off of Craigslist, that the guy said was rooted and I am not sure what I need to do to confirm that or re-root to make sure what I am doing is not hurting the phone. I would like to start using Roms again, although it will take me some time to get the hang of this all over again.

Here are the specs on the phone
system version 4.5.596.mb810.verizon.en.us
android version 2.3.3
baseband bp_c_01.09.12p
kernel 2.6.32.9-g34b306d
qgd748@il93lnxdroid09#1
build number 4.5.1_57_dx5-26
eri version 5
prl version 52522

When booted it boots into clockwork recovery, everytime it is rebooted. It does have the superuser icon. It looks nothing like what the guy had on it, I assume some of the files were on his sd card that he removed.

Nopt sure what I need to do next to make sure that I can start from scratch. I do know that you guys will be a big help, because you always have helped when I first got started. Thanks in advance!!

sbf the phone, wipe data and cache, and reroot, just remember you bought this from someone you dont know, wouldnt you want to make sure its clean, by erasing everything on it?

Can someone lead me on how to sbf? I have never done that, even when I was playing around. And please treat me like I dont know the first thing about it, I am not sure I remember much about how to get around on it.
