noob Bluetooth Question

ok ~ is bluetooth , hardware or software thing??

i mean cause i noticed that some xperia phones have only 1.0 - 2.1 of bluetooth

~ cause if it's a software thing can i just update??

and if it's hardware i can't do anything about it~

bluetooth is a chip build into your phone, and the version is similar to drivers for that chip.
you cannot update from 1.x to 2.x, sorry

tnx for the clear-up ahahaha ~ im planning on buying an xperia play and a Bluetooth Earphone (for music) ~ and i noticed it only has 2.1 but it does support that aheahaha tnx again~

Bluetooth versions shouldn't matter in terms of compatibility in most cases. Its just file transfer speed.
