Noob here saying hello

Hi. Name is Mark. Just got a Nook Color for my BD. LOVE it! Interested in accessing Google apps so I guess I have to mod it. Don't want to void the warranty so am considering the SD card method. I'll probably be asking stupid noob questions along the way so patience is requested in advance.

Head over to B&N NOOKcolor - Android Forums for the lowdown on rooting and modding. The Nook Color is virtually unbrickable, so my guess is once you get a taste of running apps on the Nook, you'll be looking to root and flash

As far as the warranty is concerned, it's so darned easy to return these things to stock I wouldn't worry about it.

Seriously though, if you're stuck, just ask. It's much better to think you're going to feel stupid (which it won't), than to risk doing something which could damage your tablet beyond repair.
