Hey, I had a Palm Pre which died and went to the HTC EVO 4G. I love this device. I also was just given an original iPad (Wi-Fi only). For work they make me carry a Blackberry (which has been thrown against a wall a couple of times).

Other interests are my Mustang and my Harley.

I am rooting today for the first time. It was suggested that I go with unrevoked3 to root and cynagen(mod) for the ROM. Then I am participating in the Swype beta.

I am a noob in this arena so any tips pointers etc are always welcome.

I am interested to see where I can find apps and any other tips for a rooted Evo.

and shhhh about the Blackberry, I am on our Sales Mobile Technology project so I just call it "Field Tested" and I am hoping to break it in time for our first move towards Tablets. Wish me luck!
