Hello Group,
I'm the "new" old guy on the block, so hello!

I'm seriously thinking about getting the HTC One X so please feel free to put your input in here for me.

I know this phone just comes with 16g of space and that is a turn off for me but as of right now my 2 yr old iPhone 4 is just a 16g also and I still have

6g open and thats with a lot of game apps on it and also a few books. However, I'm wondering how the battery issue will be. Every battery starts its demise as soon as you hot it up =-)

So could someone tell me what happens when, lets say in about 6/7 months the battery needs replacing, what happens then and how much will it cost?

I dont ever use my cell for my mp3s since I have a real nice mp3 player so having just 16g will have to do but the space would get used by me just

for some gaming apps and also HD video <<<<thats what I want this phone for, well, besides the drop-dead-gorgeous-screen!

or should I look elsewhere for my simple needs, thanks for taking time out and helping me make up my mind.

When I got mine I was told it was 32GBs but lo and behold it actually was 32GBs but only 25GBs was usable due to the preinstalled software and the android system so I'm guessing the international version is different to the At&t version or something. Changing the battery isn't really an option but I expect that it will be changeable but only by specialist and for a price and none of us knows how long it will last we will have to wait and see however I had a HTC Desire for the last 2 1/2 years it's battery is still going strong.

There has been mixed reviews about the HD video though personally compared to what I have been used to in the past it looks great and the screen is beautiful.

Now I have got what seems to me a completely bug free One X and have had no trouble with it whatsoever and of course would recommend it however there is also the Samsung Galaxy 3 who's benchmarks are coming out on top though in my opinion is by far an uglier phone and I never trust the build quality of Samsung. I have also had a nose at their forum and that phone is also not a bug free as everyone was hoping it would be. Either way I don't think you will go wrong with one of these phones, just compare them for yourself and see which ones fits you best.
