Noob needs help adding google acct. please

Hi,
I am using a Craig tablet. I have no problems with connecting to wi-fi for the most part but I cannot get it to add a google account. I have even tried creating a new google acct and I still get the same error
"can't establish data connection... phone may not be provisioned for data..."
And it advises calling customer care.

I have no problem connecting to my server or downloading data.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem is and what I can do about it?
If not, does anyone know who they mean by customer care? Google? My ISP?

Hi Lisa. I don't know what a Craig tablet is-- is it a Chinese tablet? Does it have Google brand apps (Gmail, Maps, Google Play/ Market, etc.)? If not, I'm not sure how that would effect putting a Google account on it. You might see if there's a section for your tablet under the tablet section.
