Noob question about sharing apps

I am a few days away from getting a Xoom. If I use the same Google account that I did on my phone, do I need to purchase the apps again?

Apps are tied to your Google account. That means...

The market will remember that your account already paid for the app, in fact it'll even show up in your "my apps" menu as "purchased" as soon as you log in. Just re-download and you're good to go.
