Root Noob question.

not sure what you mean by the Android.img...

can you possibly screenshot what you are talking about? or copy and attach the file?...we could check it out and let you know...

Well its not exactly called android.img. devs just call it .img im guessing it has to do with roms or something?

well, an .img file is usually an "image" of a dvd or a cd..

but what i think you're talking is a compiled image of a rom that is burnable onto a CD or a SD card...it's basically a copy of the whole ROM but in a different format...

So..an img is pretty much a compressed rom?

A file named "*.img" is not compressed. It is a byte-for-byte exact copy of a computer partition or filesystem. It could be any type of filesystem- NTFS, FAT32, Ext4, ISO, etc. Within an image file, there are often many files, or even an entire operating system.

The TWRP image you linked is a community bootloader replacement. Since the LG Motion bootloader is locked, that image file cannot be used on our phone.
