ok, so im new to this whole :android" thing, but i gotta say im hooked...so my first project was a HTC one v,cdma, running ics. After unlocking the botloader, i flashed CM 10 4.2.2, this was three days ago.. im still not fully sure why and how i didnt Brick my phone.. anyways!@!!

Welcome to the site, glad to have you, glad you didn't Brick your HTC, but I must say it is hard to brick an HTC product, I will post your device forum below incase you need any other tips, tricks, or solutions.
