can you replace any SystemUI.apk?
Example, I'm on android 4.2.2, and i want to port the gs4 sys ui. is this possible?
also, what exactly is the sys ui apk? what dependencies does it have (framework, etc)?

[l]yes you can[/l] but you need to have the phone rooted first. what phone do you have?

edit: let me re-phrase that you can edit and customize SystemUI.apk, but if you look into the link it is not easy.

if it were only that easy....LOL but porting is possible but things are never located in the same place so it will be harder to do.....from what little i know about theming and rom cooking.
