Help Nook color 1.4.3 boots up to read forever then goes black..

I don't have a clue what happened but when i try to boot up it goes to read forever then flashes to black then nothing, It is rooted. I cant even get it to boot into recovery by holding power and n. I took the sd card out and still nothing. Hope i didn't screw this up. Its my daughters and i haven't a clue what i done.

If you're not the hacker type, the easiest fix might be the 8 failed boots (but you'll lose root).

Did you read my previous link?

It doesn't get any more step-by-step than this:

Method one: Eight interrupted Boots

1. Power off the nook.
2. Tap the power button.
3. As soon as Welcome to the future of reading appears, hold the power button down to interrupt the boot process. (I had to wait until as soon as Touch the Future of Reading dissapeared and then start holding down the power button on a brand new nook 1.1.0 (4/6/2011)
   • If the boot animation does not appear, add 1 to your interrupted boot count. (If all you see is the "n" for 1-3 secons, this is ok!)
   • If the boot animation DOES appear, your interrupted boot count is reset to zero. Start over.
4. Repeat from step 3 until your failed boot count reaches 8. At this point, the nook will re-flash its /system partition. You will see the process below.
