Super n00b to this Nook Color modding and I can't for the life of me seem to get the NC to boot from the SD card. Tried several different SD cards and currently trying to use SanDisk 4GB Class 4.
Nook Color Details
- Software Version 1.4.3
- Model Number BNTV250A
- stock ROM, not rooted
I've tried MAC OS Guide and Windows Winimage Guide to burn 4gb_clockwork-3.2.0.1.img file. After the image is restored to SD, I copy both the cm-7.2.0-encore.zip and gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip files to the root directory of the SD card.
Slap it in the NC and power on, but nothing happens, still boots to stock ROM.
I'm ashamed to say that I have been at this for 3 days now and haven't been able to do anything.
I would appreciate any help/feedback on what could be going on or what I am doing wrong.
I'm currently using a MacBook Pro running ML, Parallels and Windows 7, hence trying both the MAC and WIN ways....
