Hi. Has anyone seen the Northern Lights and took a picture with their phone and turned out GREAT?

You need a looong shutter time to shoot the northern lights. Therefore you need to keep the image very still for that same looong period.
If you are a 'human statue' you might be able to pull it off.

What are the odds, you think?
 
I think, it will be a great picture if you would use 'Pro HDR Camera' :)

Not a snowball's chance in hell if you don't use a sturdy tripod!

And then it's still impossible:
northern lights change/move continuously. HDR combines different exposures taken at different points in time/intervals. I.o.w. each with a different image/view of the northern lights than the previous one or the next one.
For HDR you can combine photos of the same image/view of the northern lights with different exposures. For HDR you cannot combine photos with different images/views of the northern lights.
