Help Not able to access internet while connecting my Mobile to Laptop through USB Tethering

Hello All,

I am using LAVa XOLO A700 mobile (ICS) to connect to my laptop using USB Tethering option but somehow i am not access the internet.It show that the remote device won't accept the connection.
Can anyone please advice?
 
Moved your post here, it is not the same exact phone but they might be able to help you better here. ;)
