Not able to edit typed notes simultaneously when audio notes being played

Hi guys! I am new to android and have been exploring different note taking apps. Both the
Lecture Notes and Evernote are great and have capability of recording audio notes and taking notes simultaneously, but I am stuck with the fact that when the recorded audio note is played you can't edit the typed notes. This is true for both Lecture Notes and Evernote. Anyone has any suggestions how to over come this or any other apps that might have this functionality.
