Help Not able to sign in GMAIL Account on SETUP

Hi guys,

I have a problem with my HTC magic after clearing the date in the App Manager.

''This could be a temporary problem or your sim card may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues, call customare care. ''

keeps appearing after i tried signing into my gmail account.

There are datas inside my phone which i wish to keep it. My Backup manager isnt working( i do not know why )

Is there anywhere which i can back up my SMS or ways to solve the problems.

I had a same problem.. I dont know where are you? Canada or US. I am in Canada and rogers blocked my phone because of updating to 1.6 version. I did not update first then my phone blocked. ( 911 calling problems ) Then I called them and they removed my block..
