Iono, I find it extremely ugly. It's essentially a "flat" grid of icons on the home screen. And what happens when you have 100+ apps like I have? Are you going to scroll that many on your homescreen that can only show a few apps per screen? One thing I do hope is that the release of wp7 will encourage google to polish android even more. So although I'll never buy a phone from Microsoft again, I do see how it can positively help the phone I do have.
Android can do that by USB and wifi (not all devices support it though just like on winmo). Also last I heard wp7 wasn't going to support tethering.
One great feature that is present only on Win phones is the ability to access internet on your phone through a USB cable. (share internet from computer to phone.) Great for people who doesn't have wifi at home.
