Not Android News.....but Win 7 Phones released

Iono, I find it extremely ugly. It's essentially a "flat" grid of icons on the home screen. And what happens when you have 100+ apps like I have? Are you going to scroll that many on your homescreen that can only show a few apps per screen? One thing I do hope is that the release of wp7 will encourage google to polish android even more. So although I'll never buy a phone from Microsoft again, I do see how it can positively help the phone I do have.

Android can do that by USB and wifi (not all devices support it though just like on winmo). Also last I heard wp7 wasn't going to support tethering.

The first screen there is "hubs" (essentially folders), and you flip the page and you have a list of all your apps.

I'm also really hoping that Google polishes up Android, at least the core app experience.
 
Oh my Lord...WHY is Windows forgetting such easy to do stuff?!?! Why can't I have multiple calendar accounts?


**** Microsoft, come on. Here's a guy BEGGING to go to your OS and you manage to gimp your first brave customers actually willing to buy it.

Meh, Microsoft is a bit late on trying to launch any kind of serious contender. I predict that Android is going to embarrass the heck out of Windows Mobile.

Maybe... but Micro$oft still packs enough clout that I'm betting that Win 7 phones will sell. Many business customers will still flock to a Windows OS on a smartphone.

Very true, businesses would be more likely to go towards a Windows phone but it seems like Blackberry has a deathgrip on that market. We'll see how long that lasts though.
