Root Not bricked..but not working

So I rooted my droid razr maxx..that all went fine..i installed safestrap..that is where I had the issue. I installed it, rebooted to recovery, did a backup, then enabled safe mode..now when i start my device it shows the screen for menu or search to continue..i hit search to continue, and my screen goes black and nothing happens. when i do a soft reset(volume down and power) i see a flash on the screen, then it turns off, i can turn it back on normally, and the same thing happens. search to continue ect..but it never boots to the ROM..I havent installed any custom roms yet either....any suggestions?

Reboot... hit Menu... disable safe mode.

You'll want to use Safe Mode when flashing a ROM. No real reason otherwise.
