Help Not Connecting to Wi-Fi

Hello. My phones unable to connect to my Wi-Fi. It just says, "connecting..." and stays like that and doesn't fully connect. It never had this problem before. Is there any way that I can fix this? Does anyone know how/why this occurred?

ps: if you're new to jellybean, and have an "older" router, you may need a newer one from a few of the posts I've seen
