Help not enough memory

hello!
i have a brand new samsung reverb, and just tried to download some apps, but it says i don't have enough space available! how can this be possible when i havent downloaded one thing yet....could this be a used phone?? how can i clear this memory & gain some space to download some games & stuff??
Please advise....thx :)

I suggest checking your storage, make sure you have free space. If not, go to application manager and try uninstalling some of the junk apps. Then try to download titanium backup and install. Be sure not to uninstall important apps. Do a Google search to find out what apps are safe to remove.:)

How exactly does one accomplish this? When I go to application manager I can "force stop" and "disable" apps, but I can't uninstall anything. I'm on a Virgin Mobile phone if that makes any difference.

If your trying to uninstall apps, especially the default apps installed by VM, you will need to be rooted.

That said be sure you have backups of your files. Once you are rooted I would suggest using software of your choice (link2sd, mybackup, titanium backup, etc.) to freeze apps as opposed to uninstalling. It is a major headache if you uninstall an app your phone needs to function properly. I speak from experience.

If you guys need help, just pm me your problems and I'll do my best to help out. Note: I'm not a hacker/programer or script writer, nor am I responsible for bricked phones. I have successfully rooted, installed cwm, upgraded to JellyBean, removed some bloatware, and made CWM backups with Samsung Galaxy Reverb.

If you need one of the said backups just let me know and I can upload it to gdrive and send you a link. I test all my backups before upload.:) So pm me if needed, though I don't know how long I will be able to do anymore of this, as I will be moving out into the country and no internet service exists that far away from town; none I can afford anyway.

For low memory issues on the Reverb, your best bet is to get a fair sized sdcard, use multitool and partition your card. Do a Google search on how to partition the card and you'll find a few guides, this method works well. I currently use this. Now download link2sd and continue to follow the guide.
I don't have any Roms, but I have a backup of the stock Rom and one of the JellyBean upgrade.:thumbup::cool:
