Not enough memory

My galaxy Ace plus is informing me that I do not have enough memory, yet I am being told that there is over 20gb on my sd card. Sorry if this has been posted before I am new to smart phones

I believe that it is warning you your internal memory is full (inbuilt 3GB one.)

If the Ace Plus is anything like the Galaxy S4 then that means you can't actually install any apps/games onto the SD card.

Someone should be along soon to confirm if that is the case or not.

When you get the "Low Space Phone storage space is low" notification, and Play Store says "insufficient storage" when downloading apps, this refers to internal storage not the MicroSD card. Unfortunately without rooting the SD Card is meant to store pictures, music and movies. Some apps can be moved but still have parts which must remain in the internal storage. Rooting and creating an SD-EXT partition will give you as much 'internal' storage as the SD card holds thus bypassing such a limit on low capacity phones. Be aware however that rooting carries risks such as voiding your warranty
