Help Not getting a Voicemail indication any lnoger..

Had a couple people tell me recently that they had left a voicemail but I never responded. I opened the app, but nothing was there except for some old ones in the trash from well over a month ago. I then manually held down the 1 key to go into my voicemail & found 13 new messages waiting for some time. It might be linked to me updating from FL04 to a newer Sprint ROM - just not sure what... Any ideas guy's?

If you are still having issues I would try clearing data (back it up with TB first) on that app, and if needed do a profile update or scrtn reset.

still having trouble.. maybe it time I just factory reset & go back to the boost official JB rom & root it then fix everything else as I have time.. I'll need to change my mms settings back to boost from the current sprint settings correct? Really its not a huge deal tho.. just annoying I would say (phones Spoil us so much that we complain when something has to be don manually lol....)

Thanks Code, I'll play around with it a bit more If it helps every time I open my VM app it says Please wait Verifying your account information this may take a minute... Takes a couple minutes then it says I have no messages (even after I leave myself a test message). ** ok it also will give a error message Account Verification Error.. communication has timed out & so on..**

That almost sounds like they managed to mess up your voice mail account on the carrier side. Once you flash to the GC01 (rooted or unrooted). If your voice mail doesn't work still, try doing a SCRTN reset or contact Boost.

Just flashed GC01 rooted nodata - Seems to still be screwed up so I think you're right Code, it just may be Boost itself. I'll contact them soon.

The no data doesn't affect the data partition. If after contacting Boost and/or a SCRTN reset doesn't get it fixed, you may need to flash the "restore " ROM instead of the "no data". It is more of a pain to do as you have to recover your apps and recover your contacts (back them up to Google or the SD card).

yeah, I had hoped to avoid the restore ROM & didn't look at it from your point of view (I really didn't do much did I lol).. Can you fill me in on the SCRTN reset when you have time Code? I researched it but always like to have your advice on how to proceed & what to expect :)

That is ##72786# It makes the phone do the hands free activation process all over again. With GB27 and most likely GC01 as well it will ask you for your MSL to confirm. Before doing all of that, did you clear data on the voicemail app?

I have, twice now. I can't get my phone to update the profile or prl either- just failure after failure. Wonder if that's linked to the voicemail problem. Sorry for the delays, work seems to show its ugly head every time I have a problem..

Try doing the reset later or from a different area. I have had it where the network had problems with the activation system. Contacting Boost with the number from the guide would be the thing to do if needed.
