Help Not getting message notifications

For about 2 days I haven't been getting email and text message notifications. I have reset them several times using the settings option on the menu button. Unlike he BB I have been using I haven't found a "SAVE" option after making changes. Only an OK option. Am I missing something?

Weird this has been happening to me as well. I was getting my comcast emails, but NOT my gmail. I went back into the gmail account settings and hit sync, then the emails downloaded. I dont know if this fixed the issue or not, yet.

This also happened to my Gmail as well. I had to hard reset to fix mine.

How do you do a hard restart, and do you loose all your downloaded apps and configurations when you do it?

Just started having the same issue on my Sprint Hero. IM messages come in just fine, but gmail doesn't. When I hit sync everything loads like it should though.

Same thing has happened for me.

I've hit sync in 'Accounts', shut down...boot back up...it "syncs" but then doesn't again without a manual sync.

I've seen that I may have to do a factory reset...is this my only option?
