Help Not getting notification through since the second ICS Kies software update?

First of all it didn't sync Facebook contact photos, but that sorted know I logged out and re synced them all...but now i cant get notifications through when the phone is on lock.... when im on it i get them but not when im not.

Just wanted to say I have noticed the no notifications when lock screen is on aswell. I upgraded from lpq firmware to lp7 through kies and since then I have had this issue. Not sure if there is an answer to it or if we just have to wait for samsung to roll out another update.

Doing a factory reset, which I have tried, does not solve this either

I will wait for another update this will be the 3rd. If u had the same problem people will have already put it on the forums of here and samsung. :bike:

Actually I stand corrected, I got bored today and tried factory resetting a second time and it's working. All seem's to be fine so I would recommend giving it a go once or twice and see if it helps.

Reset to factory/default settings still don't get any.
BUT i found out u have to have the application of Facebook open in active applications part. IF not u wont get messages notifications.


I COULD ALWAYS EXIT AND CLEAR MEMORY BEFORE UPDATE AND STILL GET NOTIFICATIONS?????/

What network u guys on to get a 2nd kies update for ICS?

Have no idea just does everything automatically for me usually when i go on play store.

Android Version: 4.0.3

On 3 network in the uk, so far they have been the fastest to push out the updates for the S2. However since yesterday have turned my back on kies.

Kies just updated, dno if it worked, ill let you know. Im with Vodafone.

how do you turn Kies off?
