Help Not getting OTA updates

My suspicions were confirmed. The 4.2 update was released in April, and it's now June and my infinity hasn't updated. I felt that my tablet wasn't getting the OTA updates since I sent it to Asus for repairs several months ago. I chatted with Asus today and got this explanation: "in regards to the OTA updates these are automatic from android". I thought the manufacturer distributed the updates to the devices. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

If you sent it to Asus for an RMA and the motherboard was changed then Asus has the security codes in their server messed up. The only way to fix it is to call them repeatedly at their tech support in Taiwan. Since this is the case you will never be able to unlock the boot loader either. You can of course download the updates from Asus and install them that way. It is not a new problem for people who have sent in their tablets for repair.
