Accessories Not impressed with extended batt

Hey all, I recently got the extended battery for my Droid 2. So far, I'm really not getting anything "extended". The battery lasts just as long as the stock battery. Nothing has changed on the phone. Has anyone else noticed this or did I get a dud?

Which battery did you get? What software are you running on your phone? What do you consider average? Details, man!

I have a BP7X. And my battery life looks like this, after 11 straight hours of MP3s, some text, web, email, and voice calls.

How do you take screenshots?

And what is that top program?

You need to be rooted to take screenshots (at least, easily). I use a free app called shootme. The top program is battery indicator pro.

I have the latest OS (2.3.whatever) the BP7X batt. After reading posts on the forum, I think I'm ok. For example, right now my phone has been on for 10hrs with several phone calls and light twitter, facebook and texting and the batt is at 80%.

Its kind of like a new battery whereas it needs to be broke in. After two weeks you should be getting the full benefits of the "extended"

I have the droid 2 global
this battery is amazing i got 9hrs 45min with 70% left with moderate use since last plugged in
mainly texting and listening to music and i also played tap tap for half an hour
and i got it yesterday so i only charged it once which was last night.
