Help not receiving complete txt messages

I'm very frustrated with my new note 2, I'm receiving incomplete and out of order txt message threads since I've activated it. I have auto combination on and the problem is still happening. What mobile network should I have my phone set to cdma/lte? I'm ready to return the phone and get htc one I owned the htc evo4g and never had any such issues. Anyone having similar issues with their note 2 on the sprint network in the the north jersey/NY metro area?

Hello galaxyNOTEdos.

The recommended choice in the Data Usage area of the menu is "Mobile Data" checked, and in the Network Mode area is "Global," on the Verizon network. I don't have access to a Sprint Note 2, but perhaps others here will chime in.
