Hi all,
my phone just shuts off daily and doesn't come back on. It's not a memory issue. The model number is LGMS770 I wasn't sure what forum to post my questions / issues to. If anyone knows the name of my phone that would be great. Thank you,

Ian

That's the LG Motion 4G. I'll move your post for you so it gets you the best solutions.

You might, in the mean time, check to make sure your battery is seated properly and isn't loose.

Thank you. Yes, I've checked the battery. When the phone does come on it is such a good phone, but it's no good off. My mom in law got a new one because of this issue and passed this one on to me and I'd like to use it just for email and wifi apps. I charged it and it did great for a few hours. The battery isn't dead, it just works randomly and does great, then turns off while I'm not using it and won't turn on unless it's feels like it. I hope someone can help. Thank you

no ideas?

I saw a thread somewhere else that showed a lot of lg users with this issue, some said their mobile company had to replace their sim card. I took it out but still don't work? Any ideas?

Thank you

Sorry, no. Random reboots can occur with misbehaving services, but complete shutdowns are usually indicative of a hardware problem. On the off chance a user data file is corrupt and causing the problem a factory reset *could* return your phone to normal behavior, but please make sure all important files and information is backed up off the device before you go that route.

I asked someone that works on computers about it, he said it's just the battery, I just need to clean the connectors with a little alchaol or hand sanitizer. I haven't tried that yet. But here's what I noticed, the battery indicator never looks empty, but when the phone won't come on and i charge it it works for a while. I changed a preserve battery setting from 30% to 10% I wondered if that setting was making the phone power off. Anyway it's been on for over 2 hours today and no problem yet.
