Not very android savy

I've synced up my facebook contacts to my phone and my gmail contacts but now I have 2 or 3 of the same contact. Is there anyway I can merge the contacts?

i believe if you click on a contact then hit the menu button there should be an option to "link" them. hope that helps, i'm still somewhat of a newb too.

It doesn't give me that option? When I press on the contact it only lets me send, edit, copy, add to groups, add to favorites, or delete
