Hi everyone,
Sorry if these are repeat questions, but I didn't see it asked already. If it has been feel free to redirect me there.
I've synced my phone with gmail with no problem in actually getting the job done. Problem is, that when I synced it up the first time, it moved ALL of my contacts from my email over. That includes Random Kid #1 from Random Class #1 that I emailed once in college --since gmail saves those contacts.
Don't get me wrong, some of those random contacts I have on gmail are useful. Others aren't. Nonethless, the vast majority I don't want on my phone. So I went through my phone and deleted all the useless ones.
So here's my question:
Is there a way to only sync certain contacts and not all of them? I'm afraid to turn sync (for contacts) back on because I don't want to end up with 1,000+ contacts again.
I also find it annoying that it does the same thing with Facebook, but luckily I can only view my gmail contacts instead of viewing all of them.
What takes priority when syncing --the latest update to a contact on my phone, or does one just automatically take priority over the other?
Thanks!
