AppManagerIII (used to be App2SD) is my fav.

There are no apps available for the Note 2 to move apps to the external SD card. Only way to circumvent it is to root.

So does that mean you can't download new apps straight to the sd either with that program?

Nope. Again, you will need to look into rooting and directory bind. Samsung/Google removed the feature to move apps to SD card with their latest phones/tablets/OS (started with ICS). All apps in the Play store require this feature to be present for it to work without rooting.
