Note 2 Bluetooth Problem - Please Read

I have never had luck getting bluetooth to keep a connection with a device using this phone. The connection is made and we can hear each other. Then 30-seconds later, they can no longer hear me (but I can hear them).

The 1-year warranty is coming up so I want to get to the bottom of this. I've seen that others have had similar issues.

  1. Should I file a complaint with/at the Verizon corporate retail store?
  2. Should I downgrade back to 4.1?
I know that 4.3 will be out soon and I hope this fixes it but I do not want to be past the warranty and find out that it does not.

Any other suggestions?

It is a Verizon Galaxy Note 2 is running 4.1.2 (model SCH-I605). Not rooted.

What is the best way to go back to the factory setting? I have Google Backup connected to my phone.

Does it backup settings?

Thanks in advance.

If 4.1.2 was a Verizon push, I'd bring it back to a Verizon store and ask them to fix the problem.

It's SO hard to diagnose BT issues on a forum. Verizon may tell you they cant find a problem but I take it into them anyway. Also, it may not be the phone; could be something wrong with the BT headset you're using. I had one that would often connect then drop only to reconnect. It was a pain to say the least. I bought a new headset and the problem went away.

The bt headset I'm using is a plantronics m150 it connects and keeps that clear connection for as long as I have it on. I have a note 2 i605 unrooted. On the Verizon network
