It all started when I was using a resource hungry app and the battery drained and the phone switched off. It would not detect the USB or charge from wall socket or PC. I removed the battery and kept it for two days and magically started to charge after two days. However, once the usb charger is detected, f I switch off the socket switch or remove the USB cable, I need to remove my batteries for approx 2 days or try removing the memory card or some random things like pressing the power button many times for the phone to recognize the charger.
I also tried cleaning the USB port, using different cable or charger, different wall socket, holding the power button for a few minutes but, these dont help. I also tried with a new battery, still the issue persists. I also tried cleaning the cache, factory reset to no use. my phone is not rooted and has the stock firmware. Seems like something to do with some hidden settings being corrupted? Has anyone experienced this issue? Any solutions?
