Note 2 multi screen

Hi guys. just purchased my note 2 from ATT my model is SGH-1317, and my android version is 4.1.1 and when I checked it said software is up to date. how do I get the multi-tasking or do I have to wait???

Keep holding the 'back button' and you'll see a little blue tab come from the left. If it doesn't then you haven't got multi-window yet.
