My Note 2 won't power on. I opened the back - took battery out and put it back. No difference. Still won't power on.

I know this sounds silly, but try leaving it on charge for a while (just in case the battery is really flat).
If not, then if it won't respond at all there's nothing I can suggest apart from getting it repaired.
