Help Note 2 wont display

Hey i just got a note 2,the screen seems to be cracked but when i put in the battery the blue notification light stands still for 4 seconds then flashs in kind of a pulse,the menu and back button light up for about a second but i still dont see notthing on the screen. Im guessing the screen needs to be replaced?

yeah, it does seem to be cracked and needs replacement.
