Got my Note 3 last week, new line, got home, swapped sim cards with my note 2 (number was already registered with the microcell tower), and a quick reboot and the note 3 picked right back up. Once little snag, another reboot and things seamed set.
All of the sudden, my battery is draining quick and I barely have a signal and AT&T microcell is no longer displayed on the device.
I rebooted EVERYTHING. Router, the phone, the microcell, etc. Did all the usual things.
A quick google search and looks like I am not the only one with this issue.
I may be taking the phone back. It makes no since to have my battery trashed because faulty equipment. Either something with AT&Ts microcell tower or software in the note 3. Phone is useless if battery is being destroyed because it is sitting at home in a crappy reception issue. That is why I bought the microcell tower!
I am not too happy right now. I hope its a glitch in AT&Ts system, but if android needs an update... well, who the hell knows when that is going to be!?
