Note 4 - GPS is wonky as heck

Anyone else see some crazy GPS issues? Is it just me? This phone is getting old, it does have some sensor issues I think..

yeah same here, using my wifes old lg g2, I guess i need to decide on a new phone to meet Pokemon Go specs now. wonder if samsung or moto will start to feature that as a spec.

Whatever you get, make sure the battery isn't weaksauce. I hear it likes to chow down on battery life.

I was having some issues with my own Samsung S2, so I googled around about it. http://androidforums.com/threads/gps-fix-dummies-guide.761247/ there's this article on the current site about software related issues, which if you're having tracking issues and not just getting a fix in general, it probably is software related. There are some very good utilities listed in the article, and if you read through the comments there are more tips there. It fixed a lot of my gps related issues right away with this, and gives you a good utility to monitor the specs too.
