Help Note 4 S-View Case Window Not Showing Notifications After 5.1.1 Update

Hello - I just updated my AT&T Note 4 to 5.1.1, and I am having several issues. The most serious issue involves my S-View case. Typically, I could see notification icons in my status bar in the S-View window (ie: if I had an unread sms, I would see the messenger icon in the status bar both in the S-View window and on the Android home screen). Now, I do not see any notification icons until I open the case and reach the Android home screen.

Has anyone else experience this issue?

I used light flow notifications faithfully, and after update it's garbage

Not surprising. I was not getting OTA updates until recently, as my IMEI number AT&T had on record was incorrect, so I was on 4.4.4 for the first 6 months of owning this phone. Since correcting that and starting to get updates, my experience with the phone has consistently gone downhill with each new version. It's a damn shame, because I was almost completely happy with the older OS. I kick myself every day for updating.

On the above issue - notifications are now displaying sporadically, which is just as bad or worse than not displaying at all. Very frustrating.
