NOTE 5 Fast Charge Issue

I am new to the android world. I had previously only had iPhones so I am at a loss for a fix. I am using the factory fast charge box and cord and have tested it with other devices to know that they will still fast charge. Fast charge is also turned on in settings. Last night "System UI content hidden" notification popped up on my phone and the phone will not fast charge since. Is this a connection or is this just coincidence? How do I fix it? Running 6.0.1 Also tried resetting settings.

I don't believe this is related to fast charging, so it's more likely a coincidence and something else (the socket, the USB cord, etc...) that's causing your phone not to fast charge.

When that "System UI Content Hidden" notification comes up, tap and hold it (long press) and see if there is an option to hide it from your lock screen. Try that and report back!
