Note 9 encryption

hello people , I would like to ask about if the note 9 is encrypted by default or should I enable it .. ? and If recovery data after hard rest done ,, will it appear or the data will be encrypted ( I am askin because my mobile is stolen ) thanks in advance <3

not sure on the note 9, my note 8 is not setup by default. have you used Samsung Find My Mobile

sorry to hear that your note 9 was stolen......definitely use the link....especially use it now to lock the phone so no one can use it. you can even turn the gps on to locate it.

Any android device made in the last few years should be encrypted by default, so after a reset the data are definitely gone.
