I'm using Note Everything Pro right now. It's got most of what I want but it is missing one thing-syncing with my PC. Although I can back up the notes database to my PC I can't open it there so I've added to my 'wishlist' for an Android note-taking app. Let's see if an app exists that has everything I want?
Text notes. Additional formatting, images, etc. is a bonus but not necessary.
Ability to password protect notes.
Ability to read/edit notes on a Windows PC. This can be via Notepad, Word, or even a companion program specific to the Android app. The syncing must be direct, e.g. via USB. It can be OTA as long as it's direct, i.e. I don't want my notes going out to cloud storage-neither Skydrive, Dropbox, nor Google Cloud. Not even as an intermediary. It's OK if the app works with these, but it shouldn't require the use of them.
Thanks.
