Note Edge (CDMA) Video Review

I made my comments in the other thread, but will add this, did you get or plan on getting a cover for it. If so, I wouldn't mind seeing a video of that as well.

thanks
TS

So the frame is plastic, and not metal like the Note 4? Can you, please loaded swift keyboard on your phone, and let me know how it looks/feel?

Samsung says its metal, but everyone else (except one) states it is plastic.
It didn't feel like plastic when I played around with it last month, but I'm no expert. lol

In the OP's video he says the phone is plastic, so I would like for him to clarify if the frame is metal or plastic.

The back cover is definitely plastic. The rim and the frame also feels like plastic. If there's any metal, it's probably just the silver rim along the side. Just by looking and feeling the side is not convincing that it is metal. Also, the side of the phone can be easily scratched which makes one believe it is even less likely it is metal.

I definitely need to get a cover for the phone since the side can be scratched so easily. Apparently since the phone is so new, there isn't much choice. We will definitely consider doing a short video with a cover.

I still say its metal. But regardless if its metal or plastic, both materials can get scratched, so a case is must.

I did inquire with a product specialist and apparently the bezel is in fact metal while the rest is plastic.

EDIT: To prevent confusion I will rewrite this post:

The frame of the phone is plastic. There could be confusion that it is metal as they put a metal like veneer over the plastic.

Regardless, the phone is still very well built, and we still very much recommend it. As stated by @twospirits you would get a case anyway to prevent scratches!

You have the phone what made you thing bezel was plastic? Are you going to update your video review for posting false information about the phone?

Maybe I was a bit unclear in my previous post. The frame of the note edge is made out of plastic. It just has a metal veneer over it - this is what I refer to as the bezel in the previous post which is why I was probably unclear. Whereas the note 4 frame is made out of metal.

A metal veneer? How can you tell, exactly? Samsung is stating that it's metal, I'm generally going to go with that.

I don't want to continue debating the topic of the Edge not having metal sides, but do have to point a few things out.
1-Samsung claims the Edge sides are also metal.
2-a few media outlets have mentioned that it is an aluminum frame with magnesium coating. (Since aluminum isn't the best material for the RF frequencies being putout, therefore they add magnesium.

The Note Edge has an aluminum metal frame just like the Note 4, but it
