An original Galaxy Note Edge? I believe that phone is probably six years old now. Could be the battery is worn out, and needs replacing? Have you tried resetting the phone?

I have factory reset it and also tried a new battery...the phone would not reboot for some reason with the new battery.
almost went with one, but decided on the note 4 instead. man that seems like a long time ago (release date 2014). so i'm not surprised really. if a factory reset does not fix it, it could be a hardware issue......i think it is time to retire the poor thing.
