If you have this device with the OK2 build which is the newest one for this device.
Using CF autoroot even though it says it supports the build will not currently work and will soft brick the device.
A custom kernel is not needed to root this device. Use this recovery for the Sprint variant.

Flash SuperSU 2.60 no versions less then 2.60 and it will root the device. If you use a version less then 2.60 you will end up in a bootloop.
Custom kernels that are currently available will leave you in a bootloop. It may reboot two times and then the device will settle.
Make sure FRP is off prior to trying to root!
As i have seen posted to run CF and then flash Twrp will not work! It doesn't matter if you extract the recovery from CF it will not work. This may have worked on prior builds, you have been warned!
