Help note lost mobility search

Hi all, i broke my charging connector. Replaced it today, was very easy, all back together, all wire connectors everything.
Now, i cannot search for a mobile network. The option is there but it searches and cannot find anything. My note 2 is searching and finding all networks.
Is it possible the charging port killed the antennae circuit or something? any ideas guys?

Well thanks for all the replies. haha, anyway, it turns out the charging port i ordered fits 100% but since i have an unlocked modded phone, the new one will charge but not allow the mobility to search for local towers/service. Put the old on back in and its back to normal.
Who would have thunk it. I guess only option is to send it to Samsung repair and hopefully they can fix it.
