ok I have currently the note pro 12.2 and like the note 3 and note 4 I have been having issues with the default email app keeping me signed in. when I have to resign in due to password not working i go to my yahoo website and check there making sure its what i am inputting, because due to this major annoyance i have had to change my password over and over on my phone and tablet for the sign in issues. my tablet is still on android version 5.1.1 kernel 3.4.0-5591930.
the error i get even after i remove the account, and reset my device, and then reput my email information back in... i get authentication failed. its the right password because i went to change on my yahoo site and had it show password, and shows what i am typing into the stupid email account setup. i even try installing the yahoo app and have no issues signing in with its app, but i prefer the default more because less clutter and color for distraction. so not sure why it keeps signing and not getting an authorization with your default but theres no way for me to uninstall or reset the default email app to factory ... but i doubt that will fix the issue. also none of the fixes i do see really address the app itself but more over a problem with a pop3 server or whatever. i try not to mess with manually changing or signing in, but i don't see what the problem is or that its being dealt with.
i would like to see this fixed or have the note pro with marshmallow or some update fixing it. i am done with changing email passwords just because i am not able to sign in on one device.
