'Note to Self' doesn't work

Every time I try to do a Note to Self, I get the following error message:

'Unfortunately, Voice Search has stopped.'

Anyone else getting this? How can I fix this?

Sorry I can't help you but can you tell me how you do a Note to Self?

Hold down the search button until the voice search appears. Say "note to self" and then say whatever you want. This function is supposed to send you an email through your Gmail account.

I get the error message above.

The issue with this problem is that I can't uninstall the app and then reinstall it. There is no uninstall option for Voice Search/Actions.

Anyone else having this issue?

I have this phone and ICS 4.0.4 as well.
It worked for me.

For everyone where it is not working ... did you do a Factory Data Reset after upgrading to ICS?

My phone came stock with ICS. No upgrade was necessary. The issue happens when I try to send the email. Voice Actions will listen and record the 'Note to Self'. The screen will appear that shows the results of what it heard. When I hit send is when the error message occurs.

I just tested this on a friend's Razr. Same error message. Now I'm wondering if this is a Razr issue or an ICS issue.

I never tried it before. I just tried Note to Self on a Bionic under ICS. I got the message "Unfortunately Voice Search has stopped".

I'm having the same problem, on a Droid Razr Maxx. Problem seems to have started with ICS update...

My maxx had broke and was sent out another one from verizon, on my old one it did not work, which I personally upgraded from gingerbread, this one came with ICS which I know is a refurb, but it works with no issues.. strange right?

I have the jelly bean update and it works on my Razr Maxx with no problem.
