Note : White or Black

Folks, im gonna buy it in next two weeks.
Can you please suggest which color should i opt for??
white or black which one looks more awesome?? thanks..

once the beauty comes to my hand.. im gonna share my reviews/experiences as well..
 
Its black on the front and then dark metallic blue on the sides and then pretty much black on the back cover. It looks pretty good.

I usually get the darker version because black can matches any color especially if you are going to get a case for it.

I got the same confusion as well, Black or white??!
I've been carrying around black all this time so thought to go with white when getting My "G Note".
But then the white version has got a glossy back with samsung in grey!
Now whats bothering Me is not that its just plain plastic back with no texture feel 'but' what if that greyish "Samsung" on the back for the white one fades off! :o
Unlike the white one, on the black ver. it seems to Me that it won't fade, don't know why, I can't justify it but may be because its got a textured back :s

&; Is it true that white phones usually turn yellowish after some time??
Black is all time elegant to Me, no problems if I were to buy one, but just for the sake of change may be.
and what else might be / are the down sides of getting a white one??
 
Get white man. White seems much more unique than black. You're going to have a 5.3 inch screen and don't you want it to look flashy? I know i would.;)
 
I had a similar problem when white watches were becoming popular. Normally I liked black watches and so I said what the HELL and bought the white one. I never regretted it either.

Now as far as phones are concerned I hated the white versions as well but now I'm starting to gradually like them better, so I think it will become more popular than black, because everyone has black.

About the white turning yellow.............I don't see that happening on the Galaxy Note. White getting dirtier, yes, but not yellow. I know what you mean, but don't think it will happen on this phone.

You know........Black & White BOTH give a rich classy look, so it's not like white looks, childish or girly or anything. I think they both look cool for men or women.
 
the battery cover on the white model seems a bit more scratch-prone than the black one
and looks a bit more plastic-ky as well
personally I am happy with my black galaxy note
 
Yesterday i had hands-on on a Black Model for the first time.

Alike all the Samsung Phones it has sky high specs, but i a was little disappointed to see the build quality. Comparatively when i see Sensation/sony ericsson phones, their looks are mostly stunning.

Hence I would look forward to have the white model in my hands (and expect more eye-catching looks). Considering all the reviews above, i think having Black and While in my hands at a time, would make it easy to decide.

Though it still stuns everyone around. Its a beast, i would love to ride.
 
White looks flashy and very elegant and will get lots of looks from people and maybe even asking you what it is. But personally i like black cz its less eye catching and i dunt like ppl asking me questions lol or staring at my hugorama phone. The only problem is im buying this phone in 2 days but my local phone shop only sells white so i might be going for white in the end. White looks better but black is more humble so it should express your personalility really. Are you classy want to look rich type? or a normal phone user who just likes dem big screens? now you decide.
 
I bought a black Note because white covers and pouches to match would soon look dirty. Also, I don't like to draw too much attention to the Note when using it, especially as a phone in case someone tries to steal it.

i would say..ur lucky since there are a lot of countries where it is not available yet :(

Planning to buy galaxy Note but confused. I never owned a white phone. But it attracts onlookers and I donot want attention. Also guys say its gals color. I do not want my choice to coincide with gals. Further most of the appn have white background, with white frame of the phone, there may not be enough contrast. I want to know from the one who bought a white Galaxy Note recommand black.
 
I chose white partly because my 7 & 9 yo daughters liked it better at the store! My preconception was that white is not as masculine as black, but wow, when I saw the white, it was very good looking. I like the contrast of the white against the black screen. So far no regrets... loving my white phone! :)

WHITE...black gets lost too easily. white handles sunshine without overheating, I did get a black cover. It really doesn't matter, you can paint it whatever color you want.
 
I just dont beleive. Johnb41 says his 2 little daughters like it. d33th says it matches his madame's phone. great.
 
I'm having this dilemma now, White is sooooo psuedo iPhone, but Black shows dust and finger prints easily, I do get the White Feminine, Black Masculine vibe too.

Like the reflects sunlight angle and if its in my van could be a factor.

Would white be a more sellable item for when I want the Samsung Note Ultimate 128GB hmmmm! Now if they did it in mango orange or dayglo orange, I'd have that lol! :D

Think I'm gonna go black... no white arrrggggh! :mad:
