NOte2 specs now out

Nice Specs!
I hope its $199

$199 is an ideal price point. Not knowing whose going to carry it isn't too comforting. I thought that would be part of the announcement yesterday. Hopefully we'll find out soon. They take too long and I'll end up with the GS3.

Very tempted but I think I'll be sticking with my OG Note for now. Can't wait for the Jelly Bean or CM10 update to hit though.

I have my note and just picked up a red galaxy s3 today. I can already say I am not too pleased with the gs3. Doesn't really do anything the note doesn't do. S voice is so slow it's not even worth having. And ICS is just so slow. For now I will rock my GB Note and sell the gs3

Interesting, I have been thinking about picking up a gs3. I like the sleek size difference and the 2 gb of ram for multitasking. Not sure if I will miss the s-pen and the extra screen real estate though. I have wondered if the screen resolution looks any sharper since the pixel density is higher.

I thought the GS3 has 1GB RAM? Same as the original Note?

I know the Note 2 will have 2GB but not the S3?

At any rate, I will still keep my original Note. The battery capacity, RAM, Jellybean and newer cpu architecture will be the only things it will have over the Note. For me, that's not a huge improvement over what I've got. Maybe just buy an OEM Note 2 S-Pen and see how it performs on the original Note. Tempted at doing that at least.

After seeing the official hands on video I'm even more tempted to import this in October. Hopefully the 64GB version comes out immediately.

i'm liking the quad core and 2gb ram specs...but I really don't care for the 16:9 screen...even though its larger than our 5.3" screen...it just seems "smaller" since it's narrower than our 16:9 screen...or am I just being a dingus? I don't like the narrow screens.

i agree, it does seem slightly smaller to me, but I'll survive. This happened when I went from my Evo 4G to my Evo 3D, though they were both 4.3 inches so it won't be as bad for the Note2.
